Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Jennifer Carpenito, Psy.D.
My approach to therapy focuses on a collaborative, nonjudgmental, and honest therapeutic relationship between myself and my clients. I strive to provide an emotionally-safe and compassionate space so that we can turn a client's struggles into growth and healing. Through the therapeutic process, we explore patterns and ways of gaining insight into struggles while also building adaptive coping skills. I am particularly passionate about working with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and anxiety disorders, including generalized anxiety, specific phobias, social anxiety, and panic disorder. I have formal training in cognitive behavioral therapy, exposure therapy, and exposure and response prevention. Another one of my passions is psychological assessment, including diagnostic testing, psychoeducational testing, and ADHD testing. I provide psychological assessment services to children (6 and up), adolescents, and adults. In my free time, I enjoy creative writing, painting, reading, and being outdoors.
